What should we wear?

Personally, I think wear what you and the kids are comfortable in. There's no need to be colour-coordinated unless you're into that kind of thing, of course. I would advise against wearing any t-shirts decorated with big letters, brand names or writing that doesn’t have a specific meaning to you, as it might distract in some situations.

Outfit changes

I don't believe in costume changes for kids who don't like it. It might stress them out. If you are planning a change of clothes, especially for young babies, I don't recommend more than one change.

Say cheese!

Please don't! I won't. Because I want to capture your kids in an unposed, unfiltered way. Parents sometimes can get a bit obsessed about everyone looking at the camera. Although it's obviously a nice-to-have, you will find the more meaningful pictures are the ones where you and your kids are engaged with one another.

How long is the photo session?

Usually around 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the child obviously. When we meet, I'll give the kids a chance to get to know me first and to have a chat with you. Only then will I unpack my gear and start capturing your mini me.

Where are you taking the photos? Do you have a studio?

My approach is to capture your child in his or her natural environment. I come to your home, we meet in the park or the woods. Whatever you and your kids enjoy the most!
